Golden Chicken Croissant Puffs with Cream Gravy

Ingredients

Croissants

  • 4 packages croissant rolls
  • 4 packages cream cheese
  • 6 large cooked chicken breasts, cubed, OR 1 deboned rotisserie chicken
  • 6 egg whites
  • Croutons smashed into crumbs

Gravy

  • 4 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans milk
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Mix cooked chicken and cream cheese together. Separate into balls.
  2. Wrap a croissant around each ball, making sure to seal all edges so cream cheese doesn’t leak out.
  3. Roll each ball in egg white and then in crouton crumbs. Place on large sprayed cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 375° for 17 minutes or until golden brown. Top with gravy.

For gravy

  1. Warm ingredients in pan and serve over croissants.

Letters from the porch

Pull up a chair.

Every so often I’ll write you a letter. A recipe, a tradition we’re trying, whatever magic (or glorious mess) happened at our table that week. No lectures, nothing salesy, just a friend waving from the porch.
